Careers and Training

We value every member of our community, recognising and valuing our staff as our most precious resource.  We strive for our workforce to be professionally, personally  and spiritually fulfilled, within a culture of collaboration and belonging.

Our Staff Charter outlines some of the support we offer to staff. For more information, refer to our People Strategy and Trust policies (such as Dignity at Work, Flexible Working). We are open about our policies, vision, strategies and mission to ensure our staff are appreciated, consulted and supported in their work, and welcome feedback on our practices.

Our Trust is committed to enabling each staff member to contribute to the best of their ability and to develop the full potential of each member of staff throughout their working career. Our Trust values of EnablingService and Stewardship are reflected in our long history of national and regional partnerships relating to staff development. We currently hold two related designations, which benefit our own pupils and workforce but also our region:

Norfolk Research School at Notre Dame High School works alongside teachers and leaders, supporting schools to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence in Norfolk and the wider region.

The Julian Teaching School Hub is a cross-phase partnership serving over 200 schools across Norfolk. Its vision is to unite schools to serve every child, by applying best bets for improving outcomes. We provide high-quality training and support to teachers at key stages of their careers.

Potential employees

We seek to recruit internally and externally to attract applicants who share our values, are inspired by our Vision, and can commit to our Mission.

We welcome applicants, we advertise widely, including on this website, and look forward to welcoming more teachers and support staff to our community as opportunities arise.

Vacancies are listed here. Potential employees are also encouraged to join our Talent Pool, in order that they are notified when opportunities arise.

St John the Baptist Catholic Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
